The name
Latin has a suffix that built the most solid words of European civilization: documentum — evidence, instrumentum — instrument, fundamentum — foundation, argumentum — reasoning. Everything ending in -entum is not an idea or a promise, but an embodiment: something you can stand on.
And there is the root ens — “that which is”: the philosophers' term for what actually exists, as opposed to what merely appears. It gave us the word entity.
ENTUM joins the two: an instrument for reaching what is. Companies drown in documents, versions, copies and opinions — while decisions must rest on what actually exists. We built ENTUM to extract the essence from data chaos: who, what, where, how much — and what it means. Your data speaks. ENTUM helps you hear it.
